Mildred Cruzat (Ms. Millie)  in rehearsals with some of the company Dancers:  Thank you Amy for capturing this amazing moment.

Chicago Contemporary Dance Company (Chi-CDC) is a local dance program dedicated to excellence in providing instruction, performances and community programs to students, artists and audiences. Chi-CDC is guided by a belief that dance is a silent voice that celebrates, empowers and elevates the human spirit with the capacity to transform individuals and communities. Chi-CDC is committed to honoring diversity and self-expression throughout the community and to provide tour youth with the opportunity to perform around the country.

Every year in January we hold a company dance showcase as a fundraising to earn money to help towards Nationals.  Our company dancers consist of young dancers, from the ages of 5 to 18, who performs pieces they have learned before we compete in their 1st competition.  We do this so the dancers can be prepared for the season as well as raise money to help pay for fees, travel and hotel stay for Nationals.

All donations are 100% tax deductible to the extent allowable by law.
